HONG KONG ACCESSORIAL CHARGES
AIRFREIGHT
Notice is hereby given that the following AIRFREIGHT ACCESSORIAL CHARGES are to be applied by members of HAFFA with effect from 1st January 2005.

Underlined charges are applied to every export cargo with normal handling.

 1. CTG (CARTAGE CHARGES) :

Tunnel Fee Charges as per outlay.

Airport Bridge Toll Fee* Charges as per outlay based on Tsing Ma Control Area Tolls Schedule
Minimum Charge : HK$40.-

a. FLAT PACK: @ HK$1.48/kg
Minimum Charge: HK$480.-

b. GOH (GARMENT ON HANGER): @ HK$0.65 per piece
Minimum Charge: HK$800.- per consignment

c. DEVANNING CHARGE (If Applicable): @ HK$0.31/kg

2. HC/DC (HANDLING/DOCUMENTATION CHARGE : INCLUDE CUSTOMS ENTRY PROCESSING FEE)

HK$283.- per consignment

3. REGULATED AGENT (RA) SECURITY CHARGE:

Under the Regulated Agent Regime, the charge below ONLY applies to Unknown Consignors (UKCs) after RAs have provided security screening service in compliance with requirements of the Civil Aviation Department.

HK$0.50/kg (Minimum Charge HK$20.-)
plus a flat handling fee of HK$30.- per House Air Waybill (HAWB)

Minimum Charge: HK$50.- per HAWB

If UKCs have paid the RA security charge for export cargo on passenger flights (PAX), the THC in item no. 4b will be applied at HK$1.71/kg only. (other details in item 4 remain unchanged).

4. TC/THC (TERMINAL CHARGE/TERMINAL HANDLING CHARGE) :

a.) Import Cargo: Minimum Charge at HK$60.- or HK$1.71/kg

b.) Export Cargo from UKCs to be carried on PAX and fulfilled the CAD security requirments:
Minimum Charge: HK$60.- or HK$1.71/kg

c.) All Export Cargo: (excluding item b above)
Minimum Charge: HK$60.- or HK$1.72/kg

In case of Overtime Storage for the above (a) to (c): HK$2.20/kg per day after 48 hrs.
Minimum Charge: HK$45.- per consignment

5. EMAN DAF (EMAN DATA AMENDMENT FEE):

Whenever a Government inquiry message can be provided to the shipper by HAFFA Member. The Government inquiry message has shown the fact that data submitted by the shipper is not accurate and/or incomplete and returned by the Government for correction.

HK$40.- per HAWB

6. ADC (AIRLINE DOCUMENTATION CHARGE) :

HK$15.- per consignment

7. AF (ATTENDANCE FEE - CUSTOMS INSPECTION OR SURVEY) :

HK$230.- per hour, or any part thereof if applicable (minimum one hour)

8. CFS/LC - OUTBOUND (CONTAINER FIELD STATION/LOADING CHARGE)

CFS/UC - INBOUND (CONTAINER FIELD STATION/UNLOADING CHARGE) :

Tunnel Fee Charges as per outlay.

Airport Bridge Toll Fee* Charges as per outlay

d.) HK$160.- per consignment or HK$0.70/kg.

e.) GOH (GARMENT ON HANGER): @ HK$0.65 per piece

Minimum Charge: HK$800.- per consignment

9. SSC (SPECIAL SERVICE CHARGE) :

a. To be assessed for pick-up/delivery service as well as attending shipments to be despatched during Sundays or Public Holidays or for each service required before 7:00 am or after 10:00 pm during weekdays.

HK$330.- per hour, or any part thereof (Minimum one hour)

b. Lost Journey or Double Journey : CTG as per point 1.

10. SDC (SPECIAL DOCUMENTATION CHARGE) :

For Import/Export Declarations, Import/Export/Re-Export Licences, Consular Documents and Customs Permits.
HK$200.- per document, plus Official Charges as per outlay.

11. AIRLINE ACCESSORY CHARGES

(Subject to change in accordance with the Airline tariff)

a. Proof of Delivery (POD) HK$120.-

POD in writing with or without photocopy of signed delivery receipt

b. Amendment Fee [Each Master Air Waybill (MAWB) or HAWB]

- No change in airport of destination HK$ 90.-
- Change in airport of destination HK$140.-

c. Return Shipment HK$390.-

Plus expenses advanced and 15% of expenses advanced

d. Bank Consignment

- The consignee bank has office in HKG HK$120.-
- The consignee bank has no office in HKG HK$210.-
Plus 15% of out of pocket expenses

e. Certified true copy of Master Airwaybill or carrier's own document HK$ 75.-

f. Endorsement on House Airwaybill HK$ 75.-

g. Dutiable Commodity (DC) Bond Charge (per consignment) HK$270.-

h. Security Charge for Strong Room Cargo (Under Regulated Agent Regime)

i) X-Ray Screening before cargo acceptance HK$0.50/kg

- Minimum Charge HK$250.- per MAWB

ii) X-Ray Screening after cargo acceptance HK$0.70/kg

- Minimum Charge HK$280.- per MAWB

12. AAF (AIRWAYBILL AMENDMENT FEE) : HK$90.- per amendment.

13. COMMUNICATION CHARGE (OVERSEAS FACSIMILE/OR SCANNING DOCUMENT):

HK$30.- per page (A4 size) if applicable on shippers' request.

14. INTEREST CHARGE ON OVERDUE ACCOUNTS :

1% per month.

15. HEAVY LIFT SURCHARGE (In Addition To Normal Charge) :

For Shipment Over 200kg per piece,

Minimum Charge: HK$1000.- (3 hours);

HK$180.- per each additional hour


Note:

1. All Rates are Applicable on Chargeable Weight.

2. For Volume Weight, should apply the formal TACT rules set forth by IATA (Section 3.9.4 issue 48).
The cubic volume of a consignment is established by applying the greatest length, the greatest width and the greatest height of the consignment or its packages. Consignments, the extreme dimensions of which result in an average of more than 6000 cubic centimetres/366 cubic inches per kilogram (166 cubic inches per pound), shall be charged on volume basis or Hong Kong Government approved scheme.
