| Requirements of Pre-alerts of Cargo to Australia | ||
| All air and sea cargo must be reported electronically
to Customs prior to the cargo's arrival in
Australia. Air cargo has to be reported at
least 3 hours prior to the aircrafts arrival (first Australian port) and sea cargo has
to be reported at least 48 hours prior to the ships arrival (first Australian port). The information required to complete the reports is as below. |
